Mission & Goals
Ferroglobe's goal is to remain a leading company and benchmark in the silicon and ferroalloy market. We serve our customers worldwide by providing top-quality products and the best technical support, offering confidence and security. The pillars on which Ferroglobe's actions are based are excellence in production, quality assurance, care for the environment, the safety of our workers and facilities, and research, development and innovation.
EU Legislative Interests
Our interest focueses on initiatives aimed at securing the supply of critical raw materials in the EU. Silicon, our main product, is one of the critical raw materials identified by the EU. Other products, such as manganese and silicon alloys, play a key role in sectors such as steel production. We are interested in R&D&I activities related to raw materials and their production, as well as in improving the environmental performance of production facilities in order to develop low-carbon products. It is also important to defend the silicon and ferroalloy production sector in order to create a level playing field in Europe.
