EU Legislative Interests

Finance sector and services sectors. Collective bargaining at national and European sector level (social dialogue) and at company level (national and European). Topics: negotiation of wages and working conditions, management of the impact of artificial intelligence systems on employment and employees, financial reforms, employees' participation in decision-making and management bodies, limits to top managers' pay, protection of savings and savers. Monitoring of European Directives' implementation. Sustainability legislation (CSRD, CSDDD, Taxonomy)

Communication Activities

Consultations within the national and European legislative process, also through CISL confederation. Dissemination of the output of the European projects funded by the European Commission and carried out by First-Cisl and its transnational partnership (budget lines on social dialogue, training and European Works Councils) on: certification of professional skills (EQF), work life balance, active ageing, implementation of MiFID II, conciliation and arbitration at EWC level, Disability and Non Financial Reporting Directive, Green Transition, Transnational collective agreements and bargaining.
