Mission & Goals
The FSB represents the interests of small businesses in all sectors in the whole of the UK. It is the largest business organisation in the UK. As laid out in FSB's Article of Association, FSB's core objectives are as follows: (A) To make representations to any government within the United Kingdom on legislation and other public matters which affect the business or professional interests of its Members; (B) To protect, promote and further the interests of persons who are self-employed or direct or control a business and to provide a national voice and platform for such persons; (C) To engage in such commercial activities as will on a broad interpretation promote the success of the Company and assist in achieving the objectives above.
EU Legislative Interests
SME policies; Single Market legislation; Digital Single Market; Environmental and due diligence issues; Brexit; International trade issues; Customs Union
Communication Activities
FSB Public affairs strategy that include MEPs, Commissioners and political staff with regard to the areas above. FSB Policy Strategy that includes exchanges with officials, civil servants and MEP assistants with regard to the areas above.
