Mission & Goals
Federation of European Business in India (FEBI), the official Chamber of EU businesses in India, is supported by EU Delegation in India and the Embassies of the EU Member States. FEBI’s mission is to articulate the collective business interests of EU companies in India and facilitate the growth in trade and investment between the EU and India. As the unified, independent, and influential voice of European Business in India, FEBI will act as a credible intermediary between government and businesses and an advocacy place for pro-business policies and solutions. With the aim to collaborate and increase economic activity through heightened trade and investment FEBI endeavors to add to the India EU partnership especially in the times of global geopolitical turmoil. Currently, FEBI boasts a membership of 100 plus companies within a year, representing a diverse cross-section of EU Member States across 10 plus industry sectors, enabling fair and equitable business through policy advocacy.

- Inputs to EU-India FTA, feedback, industry input to FTA Negotiators - Workshops and Policy Advocacy Events on harmonisation of standards, reducing technical barriers to trade (TBTs) - Conducting and releasing Business Sentiment Surveys - Releasing Position Papers on priority topics like taxes and tariffs, TBTs, investment protection, energy transition, climate protection and sustainable supply chains - Regular dialogues with policy makers and engagement with EU-India Government stakeholders - Regular exchange of information with EBOWN - Active member of EBOWN

Additional Information
Federation of the European Business in India, recognized as the official EU Chamber in India by the EU Delegation to India and EU Member States, has been formed as a legal entity in August 2023, Board of Directors elected in July 2024 and Secretariat functional subsequently. The Board of Directors are contributing their times on honorary basis. The operational costs are funded by the membership fee and co-funded by the European Union in the initial phase.
