Mission & Goals
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is an association in accordance with article 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code. See FIFA Statutes 2024: https://digitalhub.fifa.com/m/16d1f7349fa19ade/original/FIFA-Statutes-2024.pdf FIFA exists to govern football and to develop the game around the world. -improve the game of football constantly and promote it globally -organise its own international competitions -draw up regulations and provisions governing the game of football -take appropriate steps to prevent infringements of the Statutes, regulations or decisions of FIFA or of the Laws of the Game -ensure that the game of football is available to and resourced for all who wish to participate, regardless of gender or age -promote the development of women’s football and the full participation of women at all levels of football governance -promote integrity, ethics and fair play

Among others: - Joint EU-FIFA social media campaigns on mental health, preventing domestic violence, fighting Covid-19, women empowerment - Social media campaigns together with UN agencies on protecting the environment, inclusion, healthy lifestyle - FIFA Climate Strategy presented at the COP26 - Promoting equality and women empowerment through football (relevant publications and promotion activities) - Round table discussions and workshops with political stakeholders in preparation of FIFA Competitions, measures to safeguard children in sport including a safe sport entity to help protect children in sport

Organisation Members
FIFA´s Members are the 211 national Member Associations (national football federations of 211 countries in Asia, Africa, North, Central America and Caribbean, South America, Oceania, Europe. FIFA supports its Member Associations financially and logistically through various programmes. As representatives of FIFA in their countries, member Associations have obligations to respect the statutes, aims and ideals of football's governing body and promote and manage our sport accordingly.
