Mission & Goals
For 40 years, French Food Banks have been fighting food insecurity. Today, we are the leading national food aid network. Each year, we collect and purchase more than 120,000 tons of products, the equivalent of 241 million meals, from the agri-food industry, farmers, large retailers, and individuals, with the support of the European Union and the French government. Our network supports nearly 2.4 million people through 6,060 partner organizations. French Food Banks also provide social support through innovative local projects: food processing workshops, mobile programs, and social integration projects. We are authorized by the French government to receive and distribute products from the FSE+. In coordination with the European Federation of Food Banks, we meet with Members of the European Parliament and members of European institutions. Thanks to this approval in the European register, we will be able to ensure the transparency of these meetings.

- Au cours de l'année 2025 : Rencontres avec des députés européens par visioconférence ou lors de rendez-vous - Le 26 février 2025 : Conférence sur "L'accès à l'alimentation pour tous, un enjeu européen" lors du Salon International de l'Agriculture 2025. En présence d'un député européen et d'une conseillère économique à la Représentation de la Commission européenne en France.
