Mission & Goals
Febelfin is de overkoepelende federatie voor de Belgische financiële sector en zij vertegenwoordigt ongeveer 250 financiële instellingen in België. We nemen de uitdaging op om een belangrijke rol te vervullen als bruggenbouwer tussen onze leden en verschillende partijen op nationaal en Europees niveau: beleidsmakers, toezichthouders, beroepsfederaties en belangenverenigingen.

De activiteiten situeren zich in een waaier van onderwerpen welke het voorwerp zijn van Europese regelgeving, zoals bijvoorbeeld, kredietverlening, betalingsdiensten, prudentiële en boekhoudkundige aangelegenheden, tax, retail banking activiteiten, toezicht op financiële instellingen, digitale economie, duurzame financiële activiteiten,…

The estimated costs declared above include the percentage of the annual membership fee to the European Banking Federation (EBF) and Leaseurope that these organisations dedicate to activities covered by the EU Transparency Register Please note that the amount of EU funding declared under the LIFE programme for the financial year 2025 refers to the LIFE Belgian Financing Roundtables on Energy Efficiency (Reference: LIFE22-CET-LIFE-BE-FREE/101119932). The declared amount reflects an estimate of the portion of project funds allocated to cover Febelfin’s expenses only. It does not include costs incurred by other project partners. Febelfin received funding for the 2025–2026 period, and the declared amount corresponds to half of the total budget for that timeframe.
