Mission & Goals
The Belgian Cement Association is the representative organisation of the cement industry in Belgium. FEBELCEM counts 5 members, active on Belgian and European markets. FEBELCEM plays a key role in promoting the use of cement and in informing cement users. The objectives of FEBELCEM are: 1. Promoting and accelerating development and innovation : FEBELCEM participates in numerous working groups at both Belgian and European level. 2. Promoting the many advantages of cement and concrete to all the actors of the construction value chain. The association brings together a team of engineers and technicians specialised in the different segments of the construction market: roads, civil engineering, building. 3. EU Legislative Interests
FEBELCEM’s mission is to advocate and enable wider use of cement and concrete applications in Belgium and in Europe, by engaging with European, national and local decision makers, by disseminating technical know-how and by promoting innovation in the sector. FEBELCEM is also active in climate change, circular economy and life cycle assessment questions.
