Communication Activities

Fashion Revolution campaigns for a clean, safe, fair, transparent and accountable industry. We utilise different levers to achieve this across industry, policy and cultural change. Fashion Revolution’s flagship research project, the Global Fashion Transparency Index, reviews and ranks 250 of the worlds’ largest brands and retailers according to the level of information they publish on their human rights and environmental practices, outcomes and impacts. The findings of our research help form the basis for regulation in the industry. As such, our transparency work cuts across all of the EU legislative proposals we work on as transparency is a key element. Further, by having personal relationships with major brands and retailers, Fashion Revolution has a direct line of influence to help capacitate them to be more transparent and in alignment with incoming and proposed legislation which might require them to disclose more information about the impacts of their business practices. Fashion Revolution is engaged in all working groups related to the proposed/incoming legislation shared above Good Clothes, Fair Pay coalition has drafted a legal proposal which complements CSDDD Fashion Revolution event held at EU Parliament called Fair Fashion Day
