Mission & Goals
Eurosud TEAM is an association created in 1992. It brings together private and public actors from Occitanie, New Aquitaine and Provence Alpes Cotes d’Azur regions. It is dedicated to the challenges of mobility, ecological transition and local development, with the aim of ensuring the interconnection of the metropolises of South-West Europe. As such, it monitors projects impacting territories, objectively informs political leaders and public and promotes synergies by connecting players in the territory. For more than 25 years, Eurosud TEAM has been involved in several European cross-border and transnational projects concerning transport of passengers and goods between France and Spain. It participates in numerous events and working groups in french regions, in Paris, Brussels, Spain and beyond in order to challenge and raise awareness.
EU Legislative Interests
Eurosud TEAM aims to intervene in a visionary way as an "agitator of ideas", which invites anticipation, foresight and innovation. In particular, the association implements actions in favor of major transport projects, in particular rail projects, such as the new lines projects like Bordeaux-Toulouse, Bordeaux-Dax, Montpellier-Perpignan. It also structures reflections on the financial engineering of these major infrastructures and the search for funding. Because of this commitment and strong in its territorial roots in South-West Europe, Eurosud TEAM welcomed with great interest the proposed revision of the TEN-T Regulation. More specifically, it would particularly like to bring to the attention of the European legislator a certain number of cases, in particular in Occitan territory, which for some perfectly illustrate the shortcomings that the proposed revision seeks to fill and for others, bear solutions in order to contribute to the achievement of the set objectives.

Our representatives are unpaid volunteers. Only the director is salaried. Our intervention costs are therefore very low. Eurosud TEAM has 44 members. Annual contributions range from €50 to €5,000 except local authorities which pay a variable contribution according to their population. This contribution goes from 1500€ to 85 000€ per year.
