Mission & Goals

Europinion is an independent media platform dedicated to promoting truth and fostering open dialogue. Our mission is to inform the public, inspire change, and engage audiences in meaningful conversations. We achieve this through impactful journalism and rigorous research. A key focus of our work is enhancing youth media literacy and combating disinformation. We believe that empowering young people with critical thinking skills is essential in today's information-rich society. Through educational initiatives and media content, we aim to equip the younger generation with the tools needed to navigate and critically assess the media landscape, thereby fostering a more informed and resilient society.

EU Legislative Interests

To align our campaign with the European Parliament's objectives, we will target key EU legislative frameworks and initiatives that focus on enhancing media literacy and combating disinformation. Our campaign will specifically address: Digital Services Act (DSA): Enacted in 2022, the DSA establishes a comprehensive framework for managing online content, including measures to counter disinformation. Our campaign will support the DSA's goals by promoting responsible online behavior and educating youth on identifying and reporting disinformation. European Democracy Action Plan (EDAP): This initiative aims to strengthen democratic resilience by addressing disinformation and enhancing media literacy. Our campaign will contribute to EDAP's objectives by equipping young citizens with critical thinking skills necessary for navigating the digital information landscape. Creative Europe Programme – Media Literacy for All: This program supports projects that encourage knowledge sharing and innovation in media literacy across Europe. Our campaign will align with this initiative by developing cross-border educational materials and fostering collaboration among European youth to combat disinformation. By targeting these legislative frameworks and policies, our campaign aims to bolster the European Parliament's efforts in creating a more informed and resilient society capable of withstanding the challenges posed by disinformation.
