Additional Information

The amount of 15.000 euros received in 2023 from the Directorate- General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) of the European Commission was dedicated to coordinate the very first edition of the Day of European Authors on 27th of March 2023. The EWC received 2227 euros of these 15.000 euros as overhead share. This amount was for a dedicated project, a mission, therefore it was not for the operational costs. As the amount was of 15.000 euros, there was no call for expression of interests neither an application to the call. In December 2023, the EWC won the tender EAC/2023/LVP/0007 - Organisation of the Tour of European authors on the occasion of the Day of European Authors 2024. For the implementation of this project in March 2024 (more than 120 reading sessions in the countries of the Creative Europe Programme, in addition to traveling authors among Member States) the EWC was reimbursed in November 2024 with the amount of 49.388,95 euros.
