Mission & Goals
Working in concert with 25 EU state-based Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations and supported by the Delegation of the European Union, EUCCAN is a key resource and main point of contact for EU businesses in Canada and for EU businesses seeking to enter the Canadian market. EUCCAN operates under 3 key pillars: Advocacy, Information, Representation.
EU Legislative Interests
- EU Trade Policy – with a specific focus on the implementation of CETA - EU Energy & Climate policies – notably CBAM
Communication Activities
EUCCAN advocates for EU companies at all levels of government (municipal, provincial, and federal), identifying challenges and opportunities of doing business in Canada, addressing common affairs and voicing business interests and recommendations to the EU and Canadian governments. To support these actions we facilitate industry committees, conduct surveys and publish position papers. EUCCAN represents its members’ interests locally and internationally. We offer our members enhanced visibility, facilitate access and introductions to high profile politicians and governmental institutions, and broker introductions to key stakeholders. EUCCAN informs EU and Canadian companies about the CETA providing practical business guides, industry papers and up-to-date information about EU/Canada business relations. We organize business seminars and networking events Canada - wide and online - excellent networking opportunities for our members.
