Mission & Goals

Our organisation represents the European tuna processing industry primarily composed by small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and large companies committed to producing high-quality tuna products. We represent a sector characterised by its deep roots and tradition into the European fishing history. Our commitment is to ensure that European consumers have access to safe and quality tuna products responsibly made. We provide high-quality employment, promoting also European industrial competitiveness, especially in regions that especially depend on fishing. Our members are committed to sustainable fishing practices and to promoting our local, Europea industries.

Communication Activities

- We have drafted and shared with policymakers a position paper and a socio-economic impact assessment under the title "Socio-Economic Impact Assessment Overview of the Potential Consequences of Including Prepared and Preserved Tuna in the EU-Thailand Free Trade Agreement"
