Mission & Goals
The European Transport Board (ETB) consists of decision makers from the most significant European transportation & logistics companies who, together, control over 300,000 units in road transport. ETB offers a pan-European, cross-borders approach to transportation, logistics and connectivity issues and is the shared voice of the leading European companies in transport and logistics regarding knowledge and pragmatic action with 4 main objectives: - Reduce environmental impact of the sector, - Reduce congestion of road transport, - Increase road safety - Increase effectiveness and efficiency.

- The PTI Directive (Directive 2014/45/EU) - The Weights & Dimensions Directive (Council Directive 96/53/EC) - Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 with regards to CO2 standards for new trailers - Greening Corporate Fleets
Communication Activities
The organization communicates primarily via email exchanges. However, bi-annual in-person meetings are held in which EU policies may be discussed.

Additional Information
ETB is a platform and has no legal personality. The people involved in the organization each do this from their own organization. The main tasks are performed by Mr. Rogier Laan, who receives his salary from TIP Group (the organization where he is employed). As such, ETB has hardly any costs linked to the activities in the registry.
