Mission & Goals

TP Organics is the European Technology Platform (ETP) for organic food and farming officially recognised by the European Commission for giving input in research and innovation (R&I) policy and programmes. We unite the whole food supply chain - farmers, SMEs and large companies, consumers, civil society organisations and researchers active in the organic value chain from production, input and supply to food processing, marketing, and consumption - to bring research priorities of the organic sector to policymakers in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to shape R&I for organic and other agroecological approaches that contribute to sustainable food and farming systems. Since 2007, TP Organics has been shaping R&I agendas to advocate for more sustainable food and farming systems in Europe based on organic and agroecological principles. Furthermore, we promote research participation of and knowledge exchange between the organic actors.

EU Legislative Interests

We follow EU R&I Policy related to food and agriculture, in particular: Horizon Europe (including EU Missions and European R&I Partnerships), European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI), the new European CAP Network, Food 2030, the next EU R&I Framework Programme FP10/Horizon Europe.
