Mission & Goals
The European Subsea Cables Association (ESCA) represents companies that own, operate, and service submarine telecommunications and power cables throughout Europe. These critical systems support global commerce, social communications, financial infrastructure, and national resilience. It is a non-commercial forum of cable owners and supply chain, providing a technical forum for information exchange and collective engagement with stakeholders. The primary goals of the organisation are to promote subsea cable resilience, and maritime safety.
