Mission & Goals
ESCMID is a global leader committed to advancing the fields of Clinical Microbiology (CM) and Infectious Diseases (ID). ESCMID brings to light critical infection-related issues and provides a range of educational programmes and activities through its platform. CM and ID professionals worldwide are brought together to help determine the future of global health, supported by high-quality and clinically meaningful research as well as guidance and training provided by ESCMID.

We were invited to nominate members from ESCMID to the Civil Society Forum, a subgroup of the HERA advisory forum, due to our expertise and activities both in AMR and pandemic preparedness.
