Mission & Goals
The purpose and functions of the European Security Systems Association e.V. is to improve and guarantee the quality of products, components and materials from the security systems, fire protection and life safety segments. Furthermore, the Association represents the joint economic, technical and scientific interests of the members vis-à-vis international and national business circles and authorities. Goal is to have a security market in Europe with common rules and without trade barriers.
EU Legislative Interests
Trade policies, removal of non-tariff trade barriers, harmonisation of certification and testing in Europe, European Standardisation
Communication Activities
Our members are informed of current EU activities additionally we comment approx. once a year on EU policies, if needed.
