Mission & Goals
ERFA's main objective is to improve the competitive environment for rail freight across Europe. We seek to improve the quality of rail service, reduce costs of rail and remove any remaining access barriers.
EU Legislative Interests
ERFA is following developments on the Rail Freight Corridors, the revision of the Eurovignette Directive, the revision of the Combined Transport Directive, discussions on the upcoming MFF revision, developments on new Rail freight noise requirement and many more issues that impact the rail freight business.
Communication Activities
ERFA publishes position papers and press releases related to EU activities or rail freight issues that are relevant for the European market. We also organise a public event once per year in Brussels to highlight key concerns.
