The EPMA had through a process of positive contributions to debate, been able to position itself to participate in the EU formulation of regulations and legislation. Main EU initiatives are: Authorisation and Evaluation of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation, Classification Labelling & Packaging (CLP) Regulation. Emission Trading Systems (ETS), Industrial Emission Directive (IED) Water Framework Directive
