The EPBA is the leading organisation representing quality manufacturers of portable power solutions, working with stakeholders to safeguard and enhance our positive contribution to the EU economy, the environment, and the communities in which we operate.​

The EPBA activities relate to: - The Battery Regulation - The circular economy action plan (Com(2015)614) - The Directive on Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Dir. 2012/19/EU) - The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation - The Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (Dir. 2011/65/EU) - REACH (Reg. 1907/2006 & Dir. 2006/121/EC) - The Critical Raw Materials Act

- Updated study on the collection of waste portable batteries (commissioned by EPBA) - Awareness campaign on the safe use of button cells
