Mission & Goals
The European Parking Association (EPA) was originally founded in 1983 as the umbrella organisation for the national parking associations in Europe. There are currently 20 national associations who are the Full Members of EPA. They represent the entire parking sector, consisting of public and private bodies that are operating and managing on-and off-street parking facilities and related services. EPA also has Corporate Members, including parking operators and suppliers that offer products and services related to parking and urban mobility. Since December 2023, EPA is established as an international not for profit association (aisbl) with its headquarters in Brussels. EPA’s mission is to facilitate cooperation between the national parking organisations, to liaise with European and international institutions and organisations, and to foster the exchange of professional experience and best practice relating to parking management and sustainable urban mobility.

Communication Activities
EPA occasionally invites EU officials to meetings and events for an exchange of views with is members (national parking associations). EPA experts occasionally participate in some EC experts groups (STF, EGUM) upon request, as ad hoc observers.
