Mission & Goals

ENTYAC aims to improve clinical outcomes for Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer. It achieves this by bringing together organisations and individuals with a stake in this critical issue across Europe, including health care professionals, non-governmental charities set up by the public, local, regional, national and international specialist professional societies, patients and their carers.

EU Legislative Interests

We target the focus upon improving outcomes in young people with cancer. We are also interested in the European Clinical Trial legislation and ongoing research and structural initiatives, including the Beating Cancer Plan.

Communication Activities

We produce press releases from our collaborative work, publish academic papers and hold conferences.

Member Of

Active member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology, the European Oncology Nursing Society the European Haematology Association, and the European Society for Radiation Oncology, as well as Childhood Cancer International- Europe and Youth Cancer Europe. Also Strong-AYA. Affiliatiated with the University of Leeds.

Additional Information

We are an informal part of the Strong-AYA research grant that was awarded funding in 2022 for a five year programme of work. We do not receive any funding from this programme.
