Mission & Goals
EMO is a non-profit-making association. It's members are national organsitations of/and manufacturers covering the whole range of factory-made mortars and pasty products including masonry mortars, rendering mortars based on inorganic and/or organic binders, plastering mortars based on inorganic and/or organic binders, external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), floor screed mortars, tile adhesives, (concrete-) repair mortars, and dry concrete mortars. The aim of EMO is to protect and promote, at the European level, the common interests of its members especially in the technical and administrative sector to develop the international mortar and ETICS market in the best possible common interest. To this EMO co-ordinates the interests and expertise of its members and contributes with this experience to the European legislation and standardisation process.
