Mission & Goals
ELCA is the European Landscape Contractors Association that represents 23 members (EU-countries) and 4 associated members (Canada, Japan, Singapore and United Kingdom). ELCA advocates, together with 7 other European associations of urban green professionals united within the SoGreen Alliance, for the benefits of greenery with regard to a better living climate, biodiversity and health in EU policies. Besides these activities in the domain of public affairs, ELCA is active in the exchange of experiences between enterpreneurs, the exchange of knowledge and traineeships in vocational training and the participation in EU-projects.
EU Legislative Interests
European Green Deal, Climate agenda, Renovation Wave, EU Taxonomy, EU Skills agenda/Union of Skills, Nature Restoration Regulation, topics related to climate, biodiversity and public health in the workprogram of the European Commission including topics related to small and medium sized companies.
