Mission & Goals

The European Health Futures Forum (EHFF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the health of European citizens through an open, interactive, and inclusive forum. It is open-source and brings together diverse communities, engaging citizens by employing methods, technologies, and expertise to think, debate, and shape the future of health and healthcare in Europe.

EU Legislative Interests

Health for Growth 2014-2020 e.g. Chrodis Plus JA EIP for AHA Horizon 2020 EU4Health EU Pillar for Social Rights action plan (in relation to the Wellbeing economy concept) ERASMUS+ (several projects with one pending)

Communication Activities

Was active in the EIP AHA, both within B3 (integrated care) and convening cross-action group activity (e.g. synergies group). Liaison with associated Reference Sites Collaborative network Advisor to recently completed H2020 project Compar-EU Knowledge partner for AP4HE (EHFF Network Director chaired policy group on Wellbeing Economy for 2 years and co-wrote policy recommendations, now chair of Healthy Lifestyles working group) Collaborating partner in Chrodis+ JA. Working in WP7 (now complete) ERASMUS+ Project: Partner in WELL@SME started February 2022 now completed Publication(s) from co-managed Expert group on patient empowerment and health literacy, results from Roundtable on future of patient empowerment 2022 Parrner in EU Health Coalition and EU wellbeing economy group

Organisation Members

Members are individuals, with their CVs and photos posted on the EHFF website. A number represent organisations but are members of EHFF in their own right. EHFF has associated member status with a number of organisations listed above, is a Founder member of SCiE (Selfcare Initiative Europe) and is a founder member of CEMPAC (the European Centre for Empowering patients and Communities), with which it is currently formally affiliated. We are also more recently afffiliated to the Nordic Wellbeing Academy: https://www.wellbeingacademy.dk
