Mission & Goals
The European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) is an established European health policy event that takes place annually. The EHFG promotes and contributes to the development and implementation of the European Health Union, touching in a comprehensive way the most salient health issues and EU health priorities, including the EU global health initiatives and policies, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and identification of Union-wide solutions to major health challenges. The EHFG offers an annual opportunity for the European public health community to come together and discuss how to work better together at EU level, exchange information and good practices on relevant topics in the field of public health and cooperate in the future to tackle the most crucial issues of our times. The Young Forum Gastein is an EHFG initiative that enables promising young health professionals from public and private sectors, civil society, and science & academia to become part of a 600+ person network.
