Mission & Goals

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) represents online gaming and betting operators established and regulated in the EU. Launched in March 2007, the EGBA promotes the implementation of a competitive, fair and European regulated market accessible to operators applying high-level standards with regard to consumer and minor protection as well as other aspects of responsible gaming. The EGBA believes that consumers should have access to a choice of regulated European operators unde the highest possible standards in protection and care. EGBA groups the leading cross-border online gaming and betting operators established and licensed in Europe, of which most are publicly listed.

EU Legislative Interests

Digital regulation in general, regulation and policies related to gambling, consumer protection, GDPR, Digital Single Act, TRIS, advertising, anti-money laundering, competition and state aid, Artificial Intelligence, electronic ID, e-privacy, payment services etc.

Communication Activities

EGBA news, European Safer Gambling Week, ad hoc events including webinars, information and data sharing campaigns
