Mission & Goals
EuroFIR is a Brussels-based non-profit international member-based organisation drawing together the best available food information including composition data from more than 40 EU and international compiler organisations, promoting international cooperation in standardisation, harmonisation, and interoperability to make food, nutrition, and health data FAIRer. The association has in-depth experience of EU- and otherwise-funded projects at coordinator, WP, and task levels as well as considerable expertise in dissemination, communication and stakeholder engagement activities such as online and offline communication, delivery of stakeholder events, and usability testing for digital tools and services amongst user communities, all of which are underpinned by stakeholder analysis. We have developed a range of online training materials and work-based learning for food-related topics and have worked with academia and industry to develop and validate personalised nutrition services for SMEs
