Mission & Goals

To achieve a well-functioning retail energy market, suppliers and service providers must be able to enter into and compete in the market on equal terms. The competition and innovation that new entrants bring to the market are key to empower consumers and deliver a cost-efficient energy transition. EER's key principles are: - Effective competition at EU and national level to guarantee a well-functioning energy market.. - Supporting the energy transition and compliance with climate goals. - Completing and better integrating European energy markets. - Empowering consumers and ensuring they can play an active role and better manage their energy consumption. - Ensuring that the right incentives are set to support the most efficient solutions for the energy system.
