Mission & Goals
EEA represents lifts, escalators and components companies towards the European Commission, the European Parliament and other related bodies when required for its objectives, which include: (i) to participate in the formulation of standards and regulations; (ii) to participate in all dialogues with any public or private institutions relating to elevators, freight lifts, escalators, moving walkways, manufacturing of their components or associated systems; (iii) to define minimum qualification standards and adopt certification procedures; (iv) to promote information for, and continuing training of, set-up or maintenance personnel; (v) to follow up regulatory developments at national, Community or international level that affect or may affect the interests of the members of the Grouping; (vi) to follow up national implementation of European measures; (vii) to handle, research and answer individual requests of members; (...)
