Mission & Goals
The non-profit purposes of international utility of the Association shall be, within the European Union and worldwide to: (a) Provide an international powerful and cohesive platform in which diverse stakeholders are working together to further the improvement of diabetes prevention and diabetes care; (b) Enable healthcare systems to cope with the diabetes pandemic while achieving the best possible outcomes for people with diabetes; (c) Ensure the translation of research into policy actions towards better diabetes care at national and international level; and (d) Defend, represent, and promote in the broadest sense of the word the common interests of its Members.
