Mission & Goals
The purpose of the association is to advance the science and research related to European institutions and democracy. As detailed below, this purpose shall be realised, in particular, through the development of legal, political and other scientific research in digital and analogue formats, and the operation of generally accessible online platforms. The association exclusively and directly pursues non-profit purposes.
EU Legislative Interests
Institutional affairs, including the reform of European political parties and of European elections. This concerns mainly, in the European Parliament, the work of the Committee on Institutional Affairs (AFCO), and includes such policies as Regulation 2025/2445 on the statute and funding of European political parties and European political foundations, the EU's 1976 Electoral Act, or the European Commission's Defence of Democracy Package.
