European Defense-Tech Association

Mission & Goals

The Association is an international non-profit organization whose purpose is to represent and advocate for the collective interests of European companies that research, develop, or deploy defense-related and dual-use technologies, to advance responsible innovation that strengthens Europe’s security and strategic autonomy, and to facilitate their fair access to public procurement, research funding, and international markets in full compliance with European Union law, NATO standards, and applicable export control regimes. To this end, the Association acts as a neutral platform that promotes ethical standards, encourages cross-border cooperation among industry, academia, investors, and governments, and disseminates knowledge that contributes to the technological, economic, and societal value of the defense technology ecosystem.
