Mission & Goals
The European Council for Motor Trades and Repairs (CECRA) is the European association representing the interests of authorized automotive dealers, agents, authorised and independent repairers at EU level. Through its network of national motor trade associations and European Dealer Councils, CECRA represents the interests of more than 336,000 automotive businesses, collectively employing around 2.9 million people throughout Europe. CECRA represents the automotive trade and repair sector before EU institutions, providing expert input on legislation and policies affecting vehicle distribution and aftersales services. CECRA works closely with other European automotive stakeholder associations to address shared challenges and strengthen the sector’s collective voice across Europe.
