Mission & Goals
ERPA is the European cosmetic Responsible Person Association gathering European Professional Responsible Persons, Safety Assessors and Cosmetic testing Laboratories, and other compliance operators in field of Cosmetics. ERPA aims to support the efforts in protecting the safety of the cosmetic products users in Europe by promoting high standards of services and professional conduct among the European Responsible Persons. ERPA seeks to generate awareness of the European Responsible Person roles and obligations. ERPA seeks to encourage high standard of professional conduct and competence among the European Responsible Persons. ERPA seeks to create guidelines of cooperation among the compliance operators involved in the regulatory affairs of cosmetic products.
EU Legislative Interests
ERPA was created to represent the compliance operators in the cosmetic products field at EU level in regards to all legislative activities related to cosmetic products, specifically: - cosmetics regulation 1223/2009/EC - technical acts issued to support implementation of the regulation (e.g., claims 655/2013 & technical act) - targeted revision of the regulation - Omnibus Acts
Communication Activities
ERPA is holding its general assembly twice a year ERPA is organising and attending international seminars related to the Euroean cosmetics regulation, and at least once a year the CRCC (Cosmetics Regulation Compliance Convention).
