Mission & Goals

CEDIA is the network for national associations of Agricultural Scientists and Engineers in a number of European Countries. We are committed to cooperation in agricultural education, research, advice and development with regard to strategies for sustainability in production and climate change, food processing, environmental protection, food safety, community agricultural policy, rural development and professional development. The objectives of CEDIA are: To support the professional interests of its members To protect and to conserve the environment To promote European integration by fostering and facilating co-operation between its members in the fields of information, research, education and professional development To promote sustainable production systems and biodiversity To promote the general and specific interests of its members in dealing with the European Union institutions as well as with other bodies

Communication Activities

Cedia is in regular contact with EU officials, MEP's, European Agronomic bodies and regularly holds events where key policy makers are in attendance. Cedia also represents its member associations at a world level in the World Association of Agronomists and participates in its events globally.
