Mission & Goals
CENELEC is responsible for standardization in the electrotechnical engineering. It is the only recognized European organisation according to Regulation 1025/2012 for the planning, drafting and adoption of European Standards in the electrotechnical engineering field

CENELEC's National Members are the National Committees (NCs) of the 27 European Union countries, UK, the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey plus three countries of the European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Norway and Switzerland). There is one member per country.
