Mission & Goals
The aim of the Alliance is to drive the development, implementation and support for EU and national policies, programmes and initiatives to create an ecosystem to shift away from fossil-fuelled vehicles to vans and trucks with zero-emission tailpipe emissions. The objectives are to: 1) Create a platform where diverse organisations collaborate effectively, exchange best practices and knowledge, and explore opportunities for concrete projects in the field of zero-emission road freight; 2) Develop new research and evidence about the opportunities and challenges for deploying zero-emission road freight vehicles; 3) Develop concrete policy recommendations and input to EU and national policymaking processes and other relevant forums; 4) Actively through events, position papers and advocacy, promote zero-emission freight to decision makers, businesses and society; 5) Raise public awareness about the possibilities and opportunities to deploy rapidly road freight zero-emission vehicles.
