Mission & Goals
European Cities Against Drugs (ECAD) is a Swedish registered membership organisation with their members being cities and municipalities in Europe. It has been active in the drug policy area since 1994, providing best practice exchange between municipalities and civil society in the areas of addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery in Europe. ECAD focuses on the realities and facts of illicit drug production, trafficking, and distribution and learned lessons to be taken into account by cities when working with drug-supply reduction issues. Issues that are highlighted through our forums, educational activities, and projects.
