Mission & Goals
Founded in 1988 ECFA is the organisation for all who are interested in high quality films for children and young people: film-makers, producers, promoters, distributors, exhibitors, TV-programmers, festival organisers and film educators etc.

The European Children's Film Association is an Association which expresses the interests of national or independent entities working in the field of children's films, film education and audience development across the EU. It is not a member of any other body as described above, because it is such a body itself. The ECFA works closely with Kids Regio (part of Cine Regio) and with its own members, as listed in the following question.
