Mission & Goals

The European Chemical Employers Group (ECEG) is a Brussels-based international not-for-profit association representing employers in the European chemical industry. ECEG is a recognised European social partner in the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee and represents employers' interests in the chemical, pharmaceuticals, rubber, and plastics industries.

ECEG is an international not-for-profit association, that deals with social affairs and social dialogue on behalf of the EU chemical industry. We are a recognised sectoral social partner on the EU level. ECEG also works closely with BusinessEurope within the European Employers Network (EEN). http://www.eceg.org/who-we-are/. As of 2024 ECEG is funding member of the European Employer's Institute (https://eei-institute.eu)

Additional Information

ECEG is participating in two Erasmus+ Blueprint projects: - the ChemSkills initiative, where the organisation acts as the project coordinator - started in September 2023, and - the Skills4EII initiative - started in January 2025.
