Mission & Goals
Acting as an intermediary between its members - the European business community in Vietnam - and local, national, regional and European authorities, EuroCham Vietnam lobby on its members' behalf, advocate improvements in the business environment, raise awareness on key issues and disseminate information on doing business in Vietnam and the region.
EU Legislative Interests
EuroCham is a sub-contractor of the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk which is an initiative of the European Commission. EuroCham is a member of the worldwide European Business Organisations (EBO) Network.
Communication Activities
Projects: EuroCham is a sub-contractor of the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk which is an initiative of the European Commission. Events: EuroCham Vietnam regularly organises advocacy events, public-private dialogues and networking events. EuroCham Vietnam also actively cooperates with its partners in cross-promoting events. EuroCham Vietnam hosted the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2022 to support Vietnam in achieving its COP26 commitments and its National Green Growth Strategy's socio-economic development goals. EuroCham Vietnam is organising Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2024, scheduled for October 21-23, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. Building on the success of the GEFE 2022 and GEF 2023, the event aims to bring together key stakeholders from businesses, government, and non-governmental organizations from Europe and Vietnam to engage in meaningful discussions and advocate for sustainable practices, policies, and initiatives. GEFE 2024 broughtg together experts across sustainable businesses and governance for three days of conferences, exhibition, and high-level B2B and B2G dialogue sessions. The whole slate of events actedt as a platform to enhance cooperation between European and Vietnamese business communities, to promote a sustainable green Vietnamese economy through expertise sharing and technology transfer initiatives. (GEF) returns in 2025 to bring together policymakers, business leaders, innovators, and sustainability advocates to shape the future of green growth in Vietnam. With the theme “Shaping Changes, Building Futures”, GEF 2025 continues to feature rich conference discussions while introducing fresh content formats and a reimagined structure with: Publications: EuroCham Vietnam publishes its annual Whitebook which provides a concise view of the issues affecting European businesses in Vietnam, putting forward specific recommendations to help improve the current situation or resolve relevant challenges. EuroCham also publishes other publications such as EVFTA Reports, Greenbook.
