Mission & Goals
Established in 1999, the European Business Association (EBA) provides a forum in which members can discuss and find solutions to common problems affecting business in Ukraine. This initiative was initially supported by the European Commission and has grown to become one of the largest and most influential business communities in the country. With more than nine hundred members, the EBA is the largest premier union of businesses operating in the Ukrainian market.
EU Legislative Interests
(1) EU policies and decisions aimed at supporting Ukraine as a result of russian aggression (namely, Ukraine Facility) (2) Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products between the European Union and Ukraine in 3 priority spheres (low voltage, electromagnetic compatibility, safety of machines), as well as the spreading of this Agreement to new spheres (3) European Union - Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement (4) European Green Deal (5) Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (6) Procedures related to the river shipments in the Danube region (7) Permit system for international freight transport for vehicles of categories «Euro-5» and «Euro-6» (8) Activities related to the Ukraine Facility Plan (9) Harmonisation of REACH and other related EU integration directives (10) Trade relations with the EU related to the update of FTA and ATMs
