Mission & Goals
The non-profit Association´s members are Automated Clearing Houses (ACHs) within the geography of Europe with the following goals: - lobbying in Europe on behalf of its members - address the common interests of the automated clearing houses by representation in Europe - develop communication and discussion mediums with relevant parties in the industry to advance the views of the members - disseminate information and issue publications expressing and supporting the collective opinion of the members - organize and arrange congresses, seminars and workshops on relevant issues - collect and analyze data to support the collective opinions of the members - represent the ACHs on relevant bodies within Europe - cooperate and collaborate with initiatives and/or organizations having a purpose relevant to the Association - share relevant information amongst the members and provide the forums, both physical and non-physical where such information can be shared
EU Legislative Interests
EU legislative proposals or policies relating to all legislative, regulatory and policy initiatives and measures associated with payment services, specifically: - Settlement Finality Directive - SEPA Regulation - Payment Services Directives - Instant payments in euro - Payment services and financial data access package - Sustainable Finance - Digital operational resilience for the financial sector - Regulation on changes for cross-border payments in euro
Communication Activities
An annual conference, periodic meetings, responding to specific consultations, and biannual white papers on issues of special relevance to ACHs and the evolving payments landscape.
