To act as the representative body for European urologists and facilitate the continued development of urology and all its supraspecialties; • To foster the highest standards of urological care throughout Europe; • To encourage urological research and enable the broadcasting of its results; • To promote contributions to the medical and scientific literature by its members; • To promote European urological achievements worldwide; • To establish European standards for training and urological practice; • To contribute to the determination of European urological health care policies; • To disseminate high quality urological information to patients and public

Communication Activities

Scientific and evidence based policy on cancer, including prostate, bladder and kidney cancer, and the EU Cancer Plan and the research mission on cancer. Urge to Act campaign on Continence Health in the EU (roundtables, networking events, publications, summits) and secretariat support to the Continence Health MEP Interest Group. European Prostate Cancer Awareness Days. Men and Cancer and cancer inequalities. Early detection of prostate cancer - leading EU funded consortium PRAISE U. Work with EU Presidencies. Several academic peer reviewed publications on Prostate Cancer Screening. Contributing to research and innovation, involved in EU grants, including on prostate cancer and the use of data. (EAU is directly involved in EU funded projects) Working on women's right to health in the context of Continence Health. Co-leading an informal group of stakeholders on the European Health Data Space - joint statements and events, etc. Working with other scientific and medical associations on joint statements and events on legislation such as HTA, medical devices and medicines, clinical trials, health data. Member of EMA HCP WP. Also legislation, mutual recognition, continuous professional development, etc. Robotics and workforce education (ORSI Academy)
