Mission & Goals
T&D Europe (www.tdeurope.eu) is the European association of the electricity transmission and distribution equipment and services industry. T&D Europe’s members enable the energy transition to a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. Our membership includes more than 600 companies, operating more than 450 factories and employing over 175,000 people. Our industry manufactures, innovates and supplies smart systems for the efficient transmission and distribution of electricity. Our technologies and services future-proof the grid and make clean electricity accessible to all Europeans. We put our collective expertise to work to craft a brighter, electric future.

Communication Activities
T&D Europe currently participates in the EU-funded projects InterOPERA (2023-2027) and SG SKILLS. Past project include Grid+ (completed in 2014), eHighway2050 (completed in 2015) and PROMOTiON (completed in 2020), READY4DC (completed in 2023). T&D Europe is an active EU stakeholder engaged in, inter alia, the following bodies and platforms: Clean Transition Dialogue, High Level Forum on European Standardisation, European Energy Infrastructure Forum (Copenhagen Forum), European Electricity Regulatory Forum (Florence Forum), High Level Group Clean Energy Industry Forum (CEIF), DG Energy Smart Energy Expert Group, Commission Working Group Interconnection Targets, ETIP SNET Governing Board and Working Groups, ENTSO-E Network Codes Stakeholder Committee
