Mission & Goals

4.1 The main purpose of the Association, shall be to study, to develop, to represent, and to defend, by all legal means, the commercial and other business interests of its members, in all EU trade, customs, taxation and anti-trust matters affecting their business activities, whether at national or supra-national level. 4.2 The Association also seeks to exert a positive influence , especially with the European Union, but not limited to, with regard to policy development and regulation. 4.3 The Association also aims at safeguarding a healthy business environment to its members and secure a worldwide competitive level playing field in their market. In this respect the Association shall seek to safeguard the interests of its members against producers, importers, traders or any other party who engages in illegal or inappropriate activities in all areas including, but not limited to, illegal trade, illegal commercial practices and customs fraud.
