Mission & Goals

EURASYP is a non-profit European Industry Association founded in February, 2003. EURASYP represents the political and economic interests of the seven leading producers of specialty yeast products in Europe and its associate members. Together they provide the majority of the European market with a broad range of yeast-based ingredients. The association’s goal is to ensure the global representation and defense of the common interests of its members: -to represent, protect and defend their collective rights and interests - to find solutions for questions of common interest to producers of “yeast products” - to propose measures or adopt a common position where deemed necessary - to develop the profession and its communication to stakeholders

Additional Information

The Association's resources consist of subscriptions from the members. Each active and associate member pay the Association an annual flat-rate subscription fee corresponding to the annual schedule proposed by the Board and voted by the General Assembly by simple majority. Any (new) active or associate member accepted during the course of the year to pay the total annual subscription fee and an entrance fee. Expenditure covered by subscriptions under the different schedules consists of expenses of any nature useful for the functioning of the Association and the accomplishment of its objective for the calendar year. When circumstances require specific actions or projects not foreseen in the budget, calls for exceptional funds may be proposed by the Board and confirmed by the Ordinary General Assembly, ruling by simple majority.
